it sounds like she could still be getting over pain if she is still just improving on play again since the accident. I know kittens are bouncy but did the vet even suggest any sort of pain relief? I imagine any sort of spinal injury (even a sprain) could be really painful with all the nerves...

Is she back to her normal self in all other ways since the accident? eating/playing etc like she would have before? How long ago did the fall happen?
