Hi,
Thank you for replying! He is meowing louder, however because he doesn't know how loud he is, it doesn't bother me...good to know that it might get louder. I'm trying to do hand signals for "come here" or "come to your food" because he seems to be scared, poor baby. It works sometimes, so...
He's at least 13, he is a stray, his chip showed 2005. The buddy had an extremely bad ear infection 5 yrs ago, so I think that might be the cause, however it doesn't matter at this point. thank you for the tip of the night light, I have one that I can put in the bathroom!
I use Dr Elsey's Ultra, however lately it seems to have more dust when I change the cat litter. There are no dusty footprints with this. Might try the respiratory from other's recommendations. One of the babies has athsma, so always looking for dust free liter.
Hi,
The vet thinks that my baby Melon is now deaf and since I vacuumed next to him without a reaction which would have sent him running in terror, I agree. He's seen 2 vets multiple times in the last few months, as his eating habits have changed. They don't agree with what the eating problem...
No apologies needed! I'd never heard of limited ingredient food until you mentioned it :) That's also a good suggestion for discontinuing the Fortiflora, she's on this because I found it online, not because the vet suggested it but the vet ok'ed it.
I did some research after I replied to you and went to Petsmart yesterday...got a few different limited ingredient canned food selections to try from Blue and one other...I think she's a little better the last few days, she had a semi-solid poo last night! It was so exciting! THANK YOU so...
Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry. That is horrible. I've been going to the same vet for years so I'm pretty comfortable with their care...however it only takes one mess up for it to turn horrible. My sympathies.
Did your cats get a pain patch? I just remembered that if she has a lot of teeth pulled they might give her that. I don't think any of the kids have ever been given enroflaxacin, I'll watch out for it!
Here's a suggestion: Petsmart, Amazon I think too has this litter and I use it for one box, Precious Cat is the brand - Cat Attract Litter...it's supposed to help kitties use the box when they are having troubles.
Have you tried putting food under the bed when she's under there or behind the couch so she can eat where she feels the most comfortable? Is there a bedroom that she can be in by herself with the door shut?
Hi, I've never had a kitty have to have extractions during a dental cleaning...the vet said she might have to have quite a few teeth pulled. One has the gum growing over it. I'm a bit worried, as anesthesia is always scary...what can I expect when she comes home? I know I'll have to give her...
