I’ve had my litter robot 3 just over a week and I have to say I LOVE it so far and wish I had bought it a lot sooner! My 3 cats took right too it. 2 of them used it within 5 min of it being out of the box, one took a day or 2. Super happy so far!

I am thinking of getting the litter robot 3 for my 3 cats for my winter home. It’s smaller than my regular house so I thought it’d help save space instead of having 3 litter boxes. If you have/had one, can you tell me your pros and cons and what litter you used?

I’m specifically interested in what non-clay litters will work. Our normal wood based litter we use and love (Okocat blue box) doesn’t work. It seems to be too light. But the smell of the clay litters have me gagging when I empty it, so I’m trying to find something else.

Litter robot 3 users pls feedback. Apart from the clumping clay litter, anyone try using silicon litter am using America Litter which mentions as fast clumping in seconds and non toxic but still dusty. It's much lighter than clay litter as such will it still work for the Litter Robot sensor?
