I was looking at my cat and noticed his bottom left canine is missing. I always check on my cats and it def was there yesterday and I was going to take him in when I had time to get his teeth checked but when I looked at him just now it was missing. it had a black ring maybe an eighth of an inch...
Noticed a month ago that my cat has this weird maybe pea sized bump on her tail. It doesn't have a scab or any hair loss on or around the area, it's fairly soft, and I noticed recently that it moves around a little bit. She doesn't appear to be in any pain but I'm guessing its a fatty cyst? I'm...
He's a ginger kitty so I figured it would have been black or brown like his other freckles. I did kind of pick at it with a q-tip and it didn't budge so maybe it is just pigmentation. Still worried about the wet stools tho
one of my cats is about 6-7 years old i think and he has a few white spots on his anus. the one is like right in the middle, and the other two i wasn't able to see until i cleaned his bum recently stimulating it. the reason why i got so close to it and had to clean it was he had diarrhea that...
I always forget to post updates. He is doing much better now, I ended up going with some hairball control food which they pointed their noses up at and took forever to eat. I just sprinkle a small handful into their liked food every morning and no more hairballs so far.
I think I'm just being OCD but with one of my cats after a small fight broke loose one of them pooped and there were also little drips of normal colored and smelling pee. After herding my cats back into my room for the night I noticed the one was a bit more whiney when I touched near his belly...
Would these be okay? NaturVet Hairball Aid Plus Pumpkin Soft Chews for Cats
I just have had a really bad experience with another pet years ago giving them natural treatments suggested by the vet.
My cat has been groom excessively lately, and I think it's because of spring coming around. I checked for flees which he had none since he's an indoor only cat. I just have been noticing that he vomits bile while I'm asleep, 25% of the time when I look at his puke there's a hairball, and that is...
I’ve been bit really hard by our dog too, and it hurt for a few days and it went away fairly quickly after. I’ll just monitor everything and keep it covered up.
Hi, I wasn’t sure where to post this. I’m just curious if anyone else had ever gotten bit by their cat really hard? My cats are all well tempered but one got out of the room where they were being kept while watching a friends dog for a few hours, and when I grabbed them the dog scared them and...
I actually increased her food intake and she doesnt appear to be leaving me any gifts on my floor or clothes anymore. She does seem to eat a lot more than i remember her eating before but it might just be from it getting closer to spring.
Hi, my cat last nov had some bladder stones so she was put on uti food until her xrays showed them as gone. my mom took her in for the last visit and she told me what the vet said but i don't think it was 100% correct. I think my mom gave me the wrong information, she said that I need to...
She seems to have fully recovered and shes back to her goofy ways. I bought her a 2nd bag of the special UT food, and shes about halfway through it. My vet recommended a 3rd bag after she finishes this one but I'm kind of calling bs on it since shes been stone free for almost a month now. It has...
She had her checkup last week and it shrunk down to half its original size. At first I was expecting her to need surgery because she was just laying around, peeing very little several times a day just before her checkup. But now almost a week after her checkup and she’s been her old self again...
I just hope it breaks off slowly and passes through her urine overtime. Already spent about $400 just on her visit with the xrays and everything + the special food. So hopefully she doesn't need surgery which will be an extra $1000 on top of the $150 for her checkup visit in a week.
It ended up coming back a few days later. I took her to the vet today and she has a bacterial infection and some sort of larger stone inside. They put her on a special diet and gave her some shots so she can hopefully push it out, bit by bit on her own. She hasn't peed since she got home today...
She's actually starting to pee normal now and without any red or pink. I talked to the vet and they said just to give them a call tomorrow with an update because I guess she maybe flushed it out herself.
I just swapped her litterbox with a brand new one a few minutes ago. She actually used it and I set up their watering dish that has one of those bottle attachments that refills on its own. Seems like she is doing a little bit better already and drinking more.
thanks,
I got up to get a drink and I noticed there was this really light red colored fluid next to the litter box. I checked the litterbox and there doesn't appear to be any bloody poop or anything like that inside. There are only two cats in the room that it happened and the other one was laying next...
