This just came in to me from Kate at hauspanther.com -- and I think it's a great concept! How many of us have seen our cats licking frantically at things they derive no actual benefit from? Here is a way to help those cats while providing them with nourishment!

Cool! I will mention this to my rescue friend. She has been trying to get a cat, Romeo, adopted that bites. So he's seeing a "kitty shrink" The behaviorist suggested food puzzles and an open container filled with water with live tadpoles to keep him busy. Also suggested crickets

Distraction from an unwanted behavior to one that is acceptable is always good, whether it's humans, cats, or anyone else involved.

Romeo also has a cat wheel that he loves. Expensive but something to keep your cats busy. Also takes walks on a harness

This looks like it could be useful for kitties that eat too fast. I wonder if the material would be hard to keep clean though and if it would attract bacteria.

Has anyone actually tried this? Just curious.
I haven't, but Kate at hauspanther (she's the owner) usually, if not always, gets the product before she endorses, or posts about, it, so you might want to leave a comment there. She's very engaged may very well have some input.
