I took in 6 cats to be vaccinated on Friday. They were seen at around 2pm CST and all of them got their shots. Well. One of them (Rabbit) has been vomiting white foam ever since I got him home and its nearly 5am now. Is he having an allergic reaction?

I've exhausted all my resources on the vaccinations, spay, and one of my cats suddenly ceasing to meow. Even my CareCredit is maxed out so I have no financial means of taking him to a vet within the near future.... what are my options.

I had one that reacted much like that to a rabies vaccine. I took him back in and at NO charge the vet gave an injection of something (I don’t remember what) and made a note to use a different type of vaccine in the future.

Please do call the vet this morning. They will advise what to do. If your vet is not open on Saturday, call an emergency vet. Cats can get dehydrated very quickly.

Yes this is a reaction, one of my cats did it with the 1 year shots. The vet gave him a steroid and fluids. He had a fever which goes with this. She kept him a couple of hours until his fever came down. They did charge me, probably up to the vet what they do as far as money goes. At least call the vet and explain the situation.

Agree this is a vaccine reaction. Third taking the cat back to the vet, unless you have an antiemetic and fluids at home. If they charge you after you explain your situation, I’d consider finding another vet. Good luck and do let us know what happens.
