So I had the first question of the day taken down as some of you found it offensive and I am sorry about that. I didn't intend to cause hurt feelings, etc. :hugs:

What is your favorite time of day?

Mine is early morning, I arise around 3:30 or 4am. My girls need fed, boxes need cleaned. It seems I'm the only one up in the world. I make my first cup of tea and oh, it tastes so good. Then my birds starts their daily concert. When it's warm we all sit on the deck, listening.

So, what is your favorite time of day?

I like to get up early at 6am to feed my cats. I used to love 8pm because that's when all my favorite TV shows came on. But now we have streaming and I can watch my shows whenever. I also like dinnertime at 6pm, that's my favorite meal of the day.

I’ve always been a morning person. I thought when I retired that I’d sleep until about 7 a.m.—at least that was my goal—but nope. I still get up about 5:30. The difference is that instead of immediately racing through a cup of coffee, a shower, and breakfast, I can now sit calmly with my coffee and watch it get light. The fact that three sets of eyes are staring intently at me (feed us, feed us, feed us, feed us, feed us, feed us) doesn’t make me nervous or distract me at all. (Feed us or we’ll start gnawing on your toes.)

If it were up to me, after I finish my coffee and...something else...I’ve forgotten (feed us, feed us, feed us, feed us, feed us, feed us)...oh right, feed the cats at about 6:15, I’d go for my walk. But The Spouse wants to do the whole shower, eat breakfast, read the paper thing so we don’t set out until about 9.

I used to shower first thing in the morning before I got my cats. I probably should get back in the habit because it's refreshing and wakes me up.

Nighttime. The world is dark and quiet. Moonlight is soft and comforting. There is an owl who likes to sit in the tree behind the house and hoots softly all night long. That is truly a magical sound.

Speaking of magic, is there anything more magical and beautiful than the ocean at night? The soft breezes coming off the water, all the stars, the sound of the waves and the smell of the salt air? All without the screaming children, the 500 beach chairs and that giant fireball in the sky that wants to burn me.

What ever time it is when I feel relaxed and can chill out with Mouse without feeling I have to leap in to action doing 'something else' . :catrub:
If I'm not too tired I do love early morning / sunrise, gentle light and the day hasn't heated up. I am no fan of hot weather or bright sun.... Mouse loves it when I get up early too and bounces about like a kitten.

Another morning person here but I like it best on the days when I don't have to set an alarm. I also need breakfast and a "big" mug of coffee to start my day. I don't think I could function without that morning cup of java. ;)

Just as an FYI because I've received several PMs about this, it was my call to have the first question removed. No one complained.
