I assume most higher education institutions would have some method of testing out of courses you're already proficient in, even if it's not a national program like CLEP. So once you decide which school you'd go to and what courses you'd take, ask about testing out of some of the lower-level required classes.Do you have to be a U.S. citizen? I am a Canadian and a few things people tell me to check out, I have no access to.
My brother CLEPed out of most of the first-year courses when he went to tech school for electrical engineering.
(OK, I found this---CLEP tests are done in Canada, but not offered in as many locations as in the US.
