What is the difference between that and the regular wet food?

In an attempt to save a bit of money we have started giving our two Friskies once a day. I’m trying to stick to pate only, and just doing the classic chicken pate indoor formula right now. They get higher quality wet food for one other feeding, and raw for their dinner every night...so I think the good and bad balance out, lol.

Compared to Poultry Platter, the calories are lower (148 to 190, I think it was), plus the indoor has two rice ingredients instead of one, cellulose, and spinach. Personally, I'd rather feed the higher-calorie Poultry Platter. There aren't any data on Dr. Pierson's chart for the indoor chicken pate but I'd suspect the carbs are higher because of the extra rice. (Other indoor foods on the chart are pretty high in carbs but the one other food I checked ingredients for -- chicken/turkey casserole or something -- had wheat gluten.)

That darn poultry platter isn’t available in Canada! I know that’s the one everyone recommends but we just don’t have it here. We go to Florida in two weeks and I plan to cat food shop, lol.

Sorry, that's right, I forgot you're in Canada! :frustrated:I only chose Poultry Platter at random, though. There are a few that would probably be similar. (Not that that necessarily means they've come to their senses enough to sell them in Canada, too!)

Have a glorious time shopping for cat food in Florida! (I'm not finding any palm tree emoji, sorry!)
