~ That's the way to do it ! $$I have a Galaxy 4. I got a good deal on it because the Galaxy 5 had just come out and the store still had some of the Galaxy 4 left.
I used to always choose my phone because it had a removable battery, but they just don't come that way anymore, at least not ones that I wanted.~ I believe the advantage of a removable battery is the convenience of using a spare one. People who travel often do this. It's also a safe way to reboot a phone that has locked up .
I read that a removable battery takes more space - hence the reason more phones don't come that way .
Ours is Spectrum. The plan is great. We have not used more data than allocated by our plan, and we are paying considerably less a month. We have not had any service issues either. And just in case any of you are using Comcast/Xfinity as your cable provider.
It may depend on the skill and/or attitude of the employees in any particular store. When I wanted to upgrade our phones from the iPhone 5s to the 8, I walked out of the first Verizon store I visited. The person appeared not to be very interested in my business. Despite being a digital immigrant, I’m pretty good with technology and don’t need much help, but I like the people waiting on me to at least appear to care about my business. At the second Verizon store, I had outstanding service. The guy transferred everything from the old phones to the new, even though my husband couldn’t remember a key password. And he offered to explain the differences between the phones, but I already knew.I heard that if you buy a phone at a Verizon store, that is all they do! They then send you out the door, telling you to 'find things out yourself'. Not right. I heard this from several people who were at the Apple store.
~ I see . Here is one at Walmart that just popped up :I did not pay $900 for my iPhone XR.
There are a ton of specials around..
