Hello Hello! Happy Tuesday!
What was the first thing you did that truly made you feel that you were a real adult?
For example....booking your own appointments for the first time, moving out to your first apartment, getting your driver's license, bills, marriage/kids, managing a huge medical crisis in the family etc even something as simple as let's say, picking up a new hobby.
As for myself, there have been many little instances along the way - but probably the big (And pretty typical) one is getting a "real" long term career after graduating University. I have been working since 16 years old of course, 12 if you count babysitting and dog walking, but all those jobs prior were either summer or contract only jobs, thus intended and expected to be temporary. So having a job that is intended to be long term was quite something! My current position is my longest running, at three years now - sounds like utter peanuts to many but it is a subtle holy smokes to little ol' me
Other ones would probably be when my grandpapa passed away when I was 19, travelling solo for the first time, being the rock to my parents when my father was going through a lot of serious medical problems and overall complete and utter financial flexibility, responsibility and independence.
And honour of my friend, whom said getting a new vacuum cleaner for the first time and being utterly excited about it
