It's a very Mondayey Monday so lets go with a fun question!

If you had to be trapped in a TV show for one month; what show would you chose?

I don't watch a lot of TV but I'm putting some thought into this one. I wouldn't want to get stuck in a show like NCIS or anything with a lot of fighting/danger/survival. But I also wouldn't want to get stuck in some kind of cartoon land because that would get annoying FAST!

I can't decide between The Golden Girls and Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. The Golden Girls would be funny and CHEESECAKE! But Mr Rogers would be some calm and pleasant. But would it be TOO pleasant? Maybe a game show like The Price is Right or Lets Make a Deal would be fun.

Supernatural.....I'd love to go hunting with those two. I'd probably get killed in a very ugly way because women don't last very long on that show (other than Mary, that is).

Or Lucifer.....because......I do have a tendency to swim in the shallow end of the pool from time to time.

Or Outlander.....because.....see above.

The Golden Girls. I love their house, their cheesecake and the fun they have.
Rue McClanahan is my favorite.

Absolutely, beyond any doubt Doctor Who. But only if I could go with the 10th doctor (Tennant). Although I would settle with 12 (Capaldi) or 3 (Pertwee). 2nd (Troughton) would be fun as well.

Great question. Northern Exposure would be my pick. I loved all the characters on that show. I could definitely hang in that town with those people for a month.

OMG! YES!

Although, Smith grew on me so I would take 11 too.

Friends.

I'm not actually not a crazy fan of the show (Although I do enjoy the reruns simply enough, and saw some of it as a kid) but I always wanted part of their life - their life meaning, being able to seemingly work so little, have immediate cushy jobs, or have something meager like a waitress salary and yet have the free time to hang out/gossip/socialize anytime, all day have the best seat in the house all the time, travel effortlessly, buy nice things, have perfect attire and hair and afford nice large apartments in their 20's in a known pricey city that is NY without worrying about rent  all while also able to meet good looking single people in in endless supply. Kind of like the unrealistic portrayal of adulthood created by adolescent fantasies, or some sort of fantasy - especially in the lives of us real life millennials, contrary to the stereotype of entitlement millennials are actually really hard work and struggling like crazy.

Just cut out on the constant falling in love/sleeping with each other, casual backstabbing that seemingly goes unnoticed, the slutty guy friend, for example and we're good.

Obviously all fictional and flooff anyway, but still!

And if not that, definitely on board with the Golden Girls too. Great friends, great place, ahead of their time, and my goal is to be as sassy when I reach that age.

Maybe something futuristic too, like Firefly.

Yep. I agree about NE. What a great show. I just bought the series on DVD because it isn't available for streaming.

Gilmore Girls, my daughters and I would watch it together religiously. The show launched several actors/actresses careers especially Melissa McCarthy.

I'd love to be the cook aboard the Time Bandit on Deadliest Catch. There's something about those wild seas that calls to me. I'm sure I couldn't hack it because I'm cold intolerant and the instant I set foot on deck, I'd turn into a peoplesickle.

Maybe a vet tech on Animal ER or Dr. Jeff.

I like Dr. Pol. He's full of common sense. The only things I don't like are that he often doesn't sedate the animals much for painful procedures like gelding or tooth removal. Also he's kind of casual about sterility in surgery. He definitely gets the job done, though and he really cares. I hope I have his get up and go when I'm his age (or am I now?)

I might enjoy Abby's job in NCIS. She's a sweetheart and a go-getter. However, I'll bet she'd be territorial and bossy as well as very, very picky. So maybe not. I'll stick with my original choices.

I would choose Seinfeld where I would be lmao the entire time. I've watched their clip
show and the actors even had a difficult time keeping a straight face at times.

Also Friends. I don't think their lifestyle was so far-fetched since Monica's apt. was
owned by her grandmother and was rent controlled. It was mentioned once that the
rent was $400.00 per month, and Ross had a good job as a professor. Chandler had
a good job and Joey was a struggling actor but once he got a job on Days of Our Lives,
he made good money. Rachel quit the coffee shop to work at Bloomingdale's, then Ralph
Lauren. Monica kind of cruised from job to job but finally got a good job as a chef and
Phobe was a massage therapist.

I'd go with Friends also. It just seems like such a fun life to have in the country's greatest city (ok I'm biased since I live right outside the city and can go there frequently) with a close knit group of friends that live with or right near each other, and not worry too much financially. It's also one of my favorite shows so there's that too lol

If it weren't for fibromyalgia, it'd be Mythbusters for sure. I just love the idea of being able to learn all those skills and make/build stuff. Also, Dad worked in the tv industry, so I really love all the behind the scenes stuff on tv shows...the fruits of a misspent youth

Although, given my health issues, there's a definite appeal of House - the thought that I'd finally get a complete diagnosis and treatment that actually works is wonderful
