Lol, Jen...you're hysterical...we call our dog, "the dog" colloquially amongst ourselves...but his name is Alvin...he's like a giant chipmunk (just by his coloring)...you were close! Silo was sucking on the toes, still eww. I'm convinced Silo is weird, lately he has preferred to play with lego...

I don't know what's happening anymore! But am loving every minute. My son remains obsessed with Silo and the kitty is quite the protector of them. God forbid I play silly with them and the kids squeal...the cat is all over them sniffing them. It's beautiful actually...but honestly I don't have...

First Time Trying To Tame A Feral/stray

Lordy, it would be a close call....both loveable to boot but devilish on the sides..truce.....as for the ham, go for it! Try as many ideas as you can from withholding to tricks to getting as close to petting as you can....I'm posting a pic of Silo (can't figure out videos) after ham and...

First Time Trying To Tame A Feral/stray

It's boxes all the way Ruby...my husband can get them at will. Last year my basement was a concoction of cardboard mazes that my kids could crawl through....thank the lord that's gone...you couldn't move down there

Thanks Ruby, I hope so too! As for the scratch post...he uses it sporadically for that, mostly rubs his body and face in it and plays on it. We've discovered he's a fan of cardboard boxes for scratching so we have 2 stacked in the basement and they are nearly in shreds.

First Time Trying To Tame A Feral/stray

Hi gang! I'm sorry for not posting sooner, life has a way of piling things up. But rest assured, Silo is awesome!!! Where do I begin? He is a fiend of ham, will do anything anywhere if he can get a taste. He is hilarious in his play and has actually learned to "roll over" when we've been saying...
