    Buttercombs

I have one I use on my dog (the #006), and I wouldn't want to be without it. It glides through his coat SO much easier than a cheap one I got that looks exactly the same. However, if you're not using the comb for working out tangles or anything like that, it may not be worth the money for just a...

My dog eats the cat poo...help!

I use a big sterilite container as a litter box, and that keeps both my dogs out of the box, even without the lid. If yours is especially persistent, you could leave the lid on with a hole cut in it.

Purr and Simple cat litter made from nut shells?

I've been using it due to a suspected corn allergy in one of my cats. It is a little dusty. I never notice anything on the cats or when they scratch in it, just when I pour it and scoop it. And it tracks a lot more than World's Best did. But it does clump nicely and has excellent odor control in...

Other causes of chin acne? Litter?

Her teeth are in good shape, but I hadn't heard that as a cause before, so thanks for the info. She really doesn't even use her bowl much. I give her the food in the bowl, but she drags it out to eat it. I may try glass for the water bowl though. I should be getting the litter this week...

Other causes of chin acne? Litter?

I found a place that carries a litter made with nut by-products.. I'm going to try that out, I think, if it isn't too crazy price wise. I'd be happy even if we got it down to outbreaks here and there.. but this has been constant ever since shortly after we got her. I have to wrap her in a towel...

Other causes of chin acne? Litter?

When we got Cici from the rescue last year, her chin was pristine white. The acne started up within a couple weeks of her coming home with us, so it seems like some change must be at fault? We use stainless steel bowls, which are washed after every meal. She was on 50/50 kibble and canned (Blue...

    Cat beds.....PFFTT

Cici won't touch her bed. She used one at the shelter, so we thought she'd want one.. but nope! She sleeps mostly on our bed or the chair. We tried putting the bed on the chair, but that just made her shun both. Silly cat. Right now it's serving as a toy box for her army of toy mice, and she...

    Mice help!

Sorry to hear your baby passed away. I remember how rough it was with my mice.. so many problems, and such a short life for such fun little pets. I just couldn't do it anymore.

    National Dog Show

Aww. I didn't get to see it. It wasn't on here. It said online that it was on NBC, but ours just had the news. Boo!

    Anyone get married in Vegas?

We've got our flight and hotel booked already. (At the Monte Carlo, in a room that's slightly bigger than our apartment ) I'm just all indecisive on the chapel. Thanks for the input guys. Maybe I'll make up my mind someday!

    Anyone get married in Vegas?

As you might have guessed from the subject line, my fiance and I are planning to get married in Vegas. But it is proving quite the headache to pick out a location when I've never even been there! Does anyone have suggestions for good places to consider, or places to avoid? We're not looking to...

    Raw as a treat?

So far no luck finding chicken necks, unless we want to buy 40 lbs at once. Which is obviously a no go with just a tiny freezer. Several places with turkey necks, but I assume those are too large?

    Raw as a treat?

Her teeth are in good shape right now, but I'd love to help keep them that way. And with the way she tears into food, I think she might enjoy something that required some good gnawing. I'll have to look into where to get some of this stuff. I think there's a butcher nearby..

    Raw as a treat?

Is there a benefit to feeding raw as a treat of sorts, maybe once or twice a week? Maybe if it was something with some bone? I know a little about raw and dogs, but not much about cats. I used to give my dog raw turkey necks once every week or two to keep her teeth nice and clean. I'm...
