Thanks for your response, I've honestly been feeling so alone with my thoughts today.

I'm at my wits end now, my husband keeps saying I didn't think it through and now it's my fault our daughter doesn't feel safe in her own home. He's asking me to rehome the kitten.
I'm feeling really down today.

Thank you so much for your response, I really needed to hear that I wasn't getting it all wrong completely. I think I will get in contact with the vets and see if they can help me with the trimming of the claws just so I'm not cutting off too much and hurting him/her
