I have always been an animal lover. I grew up on a Dairy farm in foster care in Bricelyn, MN. I remember searching for litters of new kittens all the time in our hay loft. catchin the wild ones and taming them, taking them into the milk parlor and forcing my foster dad to give them milk from the cows. When i was adopted? i moved to Cannon Falls, MN where i was no longer around pets. i think we had like one cat which my sister, Covin was allergic so we had to get rid of it. and one family dog, T-bone. it wasn't until i dropped out of college to be a vet tech. (regret majorly) that i found myself saving cats or feeding strays. I always had a feline friend in my house hold as long as i can remember. some ran away, were hit by cars, i had to rehome due to my own unfortunate circumstances. but when i got Oscar? i hand picked him only to find out he was a true albino, no hearing loss, and brought him home at 12 weeks. i have kept his son, duke from a litter his mom was killed by people who had a grudge against my oldest, daughter, but he is our last remaining memory of his momma, Pepper. then there is Peanut who i also have had since he was maybe 8 weeks. he is the tabby kitten in the picture with Oscar and his sister, Cuddles, the black n white. my love of cats has only grown. and i don't see it coming to a halt anytime soon lol. all my cats are VERY vocal with me, and i have learned that certain gestures and meows mean certain things. like Oscar will come in a room at around 10:30pm and meow at us if we haven't gone to bed. he sleeps on my pillow. Peanut likes to get our attention with love bites on our toes when we ignore his meows too long. And Duke? well he is my mixture of sweet and evil...any cat owner will know what i mean. but he also is the attention hog when i try and pet the other cats...he takes the opportunity to get in the middle and steal affections lol.
