the breed really has nothing to do with it and does not make a difference. A kitten is a kitten. I was just hoping someone here would have some special "trick" (for lack of a better word) to get a kitten to drink from a bottle.

grooming has a LOT to do with the decision. Himalayans require a lot of grooming to keep them from getting knotted. I do not know a lot about the Ragdolls, but from what I hear, they require a lot less grooming.
As far as personality, I breed Persians/Himalayans and my cats/kittens are great...
I totally agree that I need to add something of that nature in the contract. I just have never ran across a sitution like this before so I have never even though about adding something like that until now. All other buyers are anxious to get their kittens.

I do not let visitors/potential buyers see my whole house, nor my whole cattery (which is part of my house). I usually bring the kittens into my living room and let them see them there. The kittens tend to wonder between the hallway, living room and kitchen, which I do allow the potential buyers...
Kittens can get spayed/neutered younger then 6 months. All my kittens once they are sold and before they leave to their new home, are fixed at 4 months old. There are quite a few vets that will do it at 4 months old also.
Is it a young inexperienced vet??
