How to find an adult ragdoll?

Thanks guys, I've gotten in touch with a breeder who is looking to retire one of her females in the spring (after her last litter is weaned/homed and she has been spayed). It looks really promising and the girl is gorgeous!! Wish me luck convincing the hubby

    Unusual spot?

It's probably just an "oops" in his markings. It happens with purebred dogs from time to time, I don't see why cats would be any different. Like this: http://www.woodhavenlabs.com/mismarks.html (especially look at the "mosaic" section.

How to find an adult ragdoll?

I'm starting my search now, because I'm hoping to add another kitty to our home in the next 6 months or so. All the cats I've ever had have been good old mixes, and I'd like to look for a more specific breed this time. I've always loved Ragdolls. In fact Nya (while being your generic mixed...

    Royal Canin or Go! Naturals

I love the GO! Grain free. The NOW! is nice, but lower in protein than even some of the foods with grain, which I find odd. I usually recommend it for senior cats or those who need to be on a diet because it's low fat/protein but grain free. I really don't think the Petcurean foods an Royal...

Is my 6 mo old kitten eating enough?

That sounds like the right amount of food, if not more than enough, but each cat is unique and at that weight at 6mos he sounds like he's going to be a big boy! I would try feeding him the wet and dry at separate meals, that way he's more hungry at the time of the wet meal and would be more...

    Food hunt..opinions wanted.

The first question I'm going to ask is a rather simple one. Did you adjust the amount you were feeding him when you switched to these foods? The #1 cause of poop and tummy issues is overfeeding. If you continued to feed as much TOTW as you did Purina, that would have been the problem without...

    My lovely Nya

We're coming up on two weeks without her. The vet came to our place to release her from her pain, but it was the hardest decision I've ever had to make. She was a once in a lifetime cat. I miss her so much. (Pictures are older, since more recent ones are not nearly as flattering).

Best food for kitten with diarreha?

I would seriously consider adding digestive enzymes to your kittens food to help with the diarrhea. They aren't expensive and a small bottle will last quite a long time with a cat. Prozyme for example only requires you to give a 1/4 teaspoon per cup of food being fed. So if you're just...

How much should a 12 week old kitten be eating??

How much you feed really depends on the food your feeding. Whiskas has quite a bit of filler in it, which means a kitten (or cat) needs to eat more of it to get their fill of nutrients. Sharky gave good advice on figuring out how much to feed, but I would highly recommend browsing the forum...

    Water intake question...

I havn't been around in awhile... I've been very busy. We got a dog I have a question hopefully you guys will be able to help me with. I'm having trouble housetraining the dog, and am looking at restricting her water intake (only giving her water at certain times during the day). The...

Switched food too quickly, need advice

Forget the old food at this point... just get some pro-biotics and digestive enzymes into him to help him best process the food.

How do you feed your cat?

Raw 1 or 2 meals a day (depending on schedule, sometimes they get all their food in one meal), and a 'chewy' meal once a week or so (this week it was rabbbit peices. They loved that!)
