Jaffa eats all wet food and he eats approx 300g per day. I think that is about 10 oz. He eats mostly good quality, high meat content food but there is a little junk food in there too (he likes his felix so I allow that a few times a week).
Jaffa weighs 4.8kg (10.6 lbs). He's an 11 year old indoor cat. He has a lean physique and doesn't have an ounce of flab on him. Some might say he's a tad underweight but my vet thinks he's just right and I agree. He eats 3 pouches or small cans of good quality (high meat content) wet food...
It is. It wasn't actually illegal until recently (just not done) but it was made illegal in the 2006 animal welfare act - it comes under the category of "mutilation".
I don't agree with you about clipping. Clipping doesn't impair a cat's ability to scratch or be a cat in any way, and is...
I don't know how it will compare price wise (expensive probably!) but Applaws have just brought out a cereal free dry food. It should be available in shops from february.
Ingredients are:
Dry chicken meat, potato, fresh chicken, poultry oil, poultry gravy, beet pulp, egg powder, cellulose...
I feed an all wet diet to my older cat, and a part wet part dry diet to my younger cat. They both get fed 3 times a day. Jaffa (who gets only wet) has one 85-100g pouch/serving at each meal.
I don't think wet or dry is particularly good or bad for the teeth. I certainly don't think that dry...
I agree with you. I'm not dismissing the potential problems a cat can have following a declaw, but even if it could be proved that no declawed cat ever had physical or behavioural problems as a consequence of the procedure, I would still oppose it. Cats scratch. It's what they do. They...
Well I would been rather annoyed. I would have expected her to get on the phone to you to ask whether it was ok and check that she hadn't already been treated with something that was potentially dangerous if 2 doses were given. Most kids get head lice when they start school or pre school...
Jaffa was nearly 9 when the vet recommended he had a dental for the first time. I tried the hills t/d afterwards but Jaffa still manage to swallow the kibble whole! He just sucked it until he could swallow. I didn't like the ingredients either so decided I wasn't going to feed that. I rely...
I don't know how much you pay for it at your vet, but have you checked out vetuk? They are usually cheaper than buying from the vet.

Jaffa - all wet and a variety of brands. Mostly good quality brands but he is allowed junk food now and again (usually felix).
Mosi - half wet and half dry. He eats pretty much the same brands as Jaffa for the wet (minus the junk food which he is not allowed). For dry it's mainly Orijen, but...
I'm on a tight budget at the moment but, like others, I buy cat food first then see what's left for me! I buy the same as I always have but I'm making a bit more of an effort to find special offers and stock up when I see them.
