We put Jerry down this evening.  Thank you all for your advice and support. Receiving such kindness from strangers has helped so much.  I'm never going to forget my little man. 

Update:  Jerry came home last night. His energy levels are good/ok, but his numbers went up again. My vet and I are in agreement that we are just going to give him plenty of water bowls and wet food. If he pulls through, he will, but if he doesn't then that's just the way of it.

He is doing better in some ways, worse in others. All the things that you read in blood panels for kidneys (idk the technical terms) have changed pretty drastically for the better he now is reading anemic, where he wasn't before, so that's worrisome. Im going to get a call this evening on...

Hey all,  If Jerry gets to come home, I'm assuming he'll be on a strict diet, probably K/D. I have issues with conventional vet recommended food, because they get paid to sell it, and royal canin made jerry sick in the past. I do not believe little carnivores are meant to eat a bunch of corn...

I'd rather not go into too much detail about the vomit, but there was quite a bit, it was very dark and there was red in it when I wiped it up with a paper towel.

I still don't know. I checked all of our cleaning supplies for any sort of chew marks or residue, and they were all fine. I found a broken ibuprofen on the floor today while cleaning, but i found all the pieces, so at most he bit it, but i doubt that is enough to cause kidney failure. The...

Jerry made it through the night. Some of his numbers are looking better, but it's too early to tell. His kidneys haven't changed, but his BP and electrolytes are normal. He is staying on the IV throughout the day, and at least one more night.  Here's hoping. 

He has acute kidney failure :(. Hes going on IV fluids overnight in the hospital. I have no idea what could have caused it.
