I rubbed vinegar on my kittens for fleas but the mamma cat licks it all off. Then i heard that cats should not ingest vinegar as its poisonous to them if they drink it. Should i stop rubbing them with vinegar? I don't want mamma cat to get sick. Would it be safer to rub lemon juice on them...

I've been trying to do that and she manages to eat around the cat food and just eats the chicken and so I'm worried she won't get the nutrition she needs from the cat food. I guess i spoiled my cat as I've been putting chicken in with her catfood while she was pregnant and while she's weaning. Now the kittens will soon be unweaned and i need mamma cat to start eating her plain cat food again. Should i just ignore her begging and hopefully she'll get hungry enough...

Thanks Norachan She had 5 kittens and only one has a regular tail and the other one has a kind of shorter tail that's bent on the end. Do you think they're rare. Maybe i could sell a kitten?

My cat has a tail. She just had her first litter of kittens and three of them are bobtail. Does this mean the father had to have been a bobtail? Or could it be a generic disorder as i think it may have been her own brother that got her pregnant.
