Why is EVERYTHING single plant toxic to cats??? How do you guys keep houseplants?

I have non-toxic plants, but even so, I hang them from the ceiling. Even if they aren't deadly to the cat, the cat is still deadly to them.    Oh, and I give little sticks to the cats to chew on. Tree sticks and bully sticks (normally given to dogs). If they have the urge to chew, why not let them?

    House Smells Like Litter Box

If your furnace/AC unit is also in your basement, then it's blowing cat litter air throughout your entire house. For me, the trick was filters. Filters everywhere. Get a good furnace filter (replace it regularly, perhaps even more often than they recommend) and get vent filters, too. I bought a...

3 week old kitten won't stop crying

He's not constipated, as he's been urinating and defecating normally. I'm not stimulating them because they're old enough to go on their own. They're both gaining well, according to the weight chart for kittens I have. They're eating the right amount, too.  Last week was Thanksgiving, so I was...

    Pics of your cute kitten!!!

This is Purrkins. I was fostering him, but today he went to his new home where he'll be an emotional support animal.

3 week old kitten won't stop crying

I have 8 orphaned kittens at the moment, six that are 8 weeks old and two that are 3 weeks old. Of the two 3-week-olds, one will not stop crying. I can't figure out what's wrong with him. I'm feeding them both constantly, they're both free of parasites and by all accounts very healthy...

Should orphans stay with their litter mates longer?

I've been suggesting people adopt them in pairs, but of course not everyone wants to. I'm adopting two and my parents are adopting two. Someone else is adopting one (that person lives with another cat, so that could be good, depending on the other cat), so there's one left that hasn't found a...

Should orphans stay with their litter mates longer?

I have a litter of orphan kittens that I estimate are about 8 weeks old (they are weaned). I have homes lined up for most of them, so now I'm wondering at what age I should rehome them. I know 8 weeks is the minimum and some people prefer to wait til 12 weeks, or some time in between. My...

Questions about Feral cat with kittens

I love ginger kitties, too. I just adopted a ginger and a flame point (sisters). Looking at this litter, if they all have the same father, then the gingers are definitely male, because one of the kittens is tortoiseshell.
