Will putting the litter box back there help train him back to peeing in his litter box downstairs or will it just be his new litter box area? Long term I didn’t want his litter box to stay on the main floor as it’s in our living room…
He’s really picky with his litter boxes I’ve tried three different types:
I tried the open top ones to help with the kicking of litter, he didn’t like. I used a random just flat litter box that was big and he did the same thing. Now I’m actually just using a random storage bin I had and he’s...
My lil guy is gonna be five soon, he did recover from a blockage and had to be at the emergency or 24 hours with a catheter about a year ago. After that he slowly recovered and would dribble here and there because he couldn’t control his bladder afterwards – which is normal seeing as he had his...
So Rory has now been home for 4 days since his urinary obstruction. He is peeing now and has finished his pain meds, he is still on antibiotics and muscle relief medication but he is almost done! Hopefully he fully recovers soon, he has been changed to a new prescription diet but he gets very...
Anyone use the urinary gold drops for their cat? What have you noticed after using them, how did you cat react, what was his behaviour like before/after. Any information helps!
Thank you for this! This is great, I’ll get that too and try that. What do you think about the brand “Wenuva” it’s not urinary prescription diet but I read it’s not bad for cats with urinary issues?
They said they found a bit of calcium oxalate stones and that hopefully with the new prescription food and being unblocked he would be able to basically pee them out! He’s currently on HILL’S c/d urinary care canned food. His urine needs to be rechecked in 4-6 weeks to see if diet is working.

As previously posted about Rory’s urinary obstruction. He was in the emergency for 36 hours, they saw some crystals in his pee and struvite and calcium oxalate stones. He was on IV fluids and on urinary diet food and they had to insert a catheter and then on his final day they took it off to see...
Hi! My last post was describing some issues Rory was having with having trouble peeing. I had to bring him to the vet because he was unable to pee, and it turned out he had a blockage and he had to be brought to the emergency. He is currently there right now, and of course it’s very expensive :(...
UPDATE
I brought him to the vet and they said he needed to go to the emergency immediately. He actually had a blockage and I’ve been crying all night. :( he’s going to be staying there for 36-48 hours for the procedure and being with a catheter. I’m so sad and upset that the whole time I was...
