My vet put him on the drugs as soon as diagnosed. No food trials completed. He weighed 19 lbs and I have gotten him down to 14 lbs by limiting his food. His weight is much better now, I definitely believe food will have an effect.

OMG Chewy has the best prices all the time. They also have live chat 24/7 so someone is always available to answer questions. Another food I feed my cats is  PureVita Grain-Free Chicken Entree Dry Cat Food  but it's $36 for 15 lbs. A little pricier but still cheaper than many others.
