Back leg issue with 15 year old cat

I would definitely have the Vet look at her if she is still acting the same tomorrow. (I'm a Vet Tech) I'm inclined to say that the fluids are not related the the back leg - unless, like the person said above, she overly tensed up during the procedure or when she jumped away she pulled...

    Biting At My Heels

Haha thanks! <3 As a person diagnosed with pretty severe anxiety issues - I totally understand not being able to control your brain! It's like he was meant to be with me for this reason! When he was a kitten we almost re-homed him several times. My boyfriend would have claw marks and bite...

    Biting At My Heels

Also, in response to another person - I have used Feliway multiple times! We have a diffuser and a giant spray bottle of it in this house hold! Haha It helps him out if we have to leave on trips, keeps him pretty calm. I don't notice too much of a difference when we have it going on regularly in...

    Biting At My Heels

Well, I talked with my vets and they said I could try Solliquin - which is a chewable supplement. They aren't sure Nutricalm really works in cats, I guess it's more of a dog supplement. But, since my cat literally wakes me up at 6:00am every morning now with constant meowing and biting at my...

    Biting At My Heels

Hmm, I'm not quite sure I could convince him to drink that. Or let me syringe it to him I should say, haha! Yeah, I was suspicious that he clearly still has some mental issues that are re-popping up now that he is med-free! Bleh. Thank you for the suggestion! You bring up a good thought: There...

    Biting At My Heels

Hello fellow cat lovers! It's been awhile since I've posted. But, a new-ish issue has come up in our house hold. Little bit of backstory: I posted 2 years ago about my crazy play-aggressive kitten who grew up to have real aggression. He was a bottle baby who didn't get a lot of time with his...

    Serious aggression, need advice

Really interesting case, and so sorry to hear what you are going through!  :( I'm really surprised that Prozac did not help since my cat is currently on Prozac for behavioral problems and it works FANTASTIC for him. That being said, his aggression was NO WHERE near what you are writing about...

    Best canned food/dry food brands?

I absolutely LOVE Simply Nourish at PetSmart. Lots of different flavors and ingredients for whatever type of dry or wet you'd like to feed your cat.  And, it's pretty affordable in comparison to a lot of brands. Only downside is it is PetSmart specific.  I'm also a fan of Wellness Core!

    Kitten Aggression - 13 Weeks

Thank you for your reply! Yes, I totally agree - medication was the LAST resort! I just wanted Gage to be comfortable in his own "fur" and be happy in his home! And while I did not doubt that he loved us, biting is not an OK behavior! So, we did have to turn to medication. Luckily he is on...

5 Week Old Kitten Already Sexually Maturing?

At this age cats are learning to use their bodies - legs, tail, mobility. It's possibly she is just moving in strange ways because she is exploring how her mobility works. Sometimes cats and dogs stand in positions with their butt posed because they have tummy upset. She could have gas or...
