It was happening in both eyes but never both at the same time. Started occasionally around summer so maybe it is allergies. He has/is constantly in the windows with the screens open. His eye got watery this morning but it's almost 3:30pm and hasn't happened since. It's the only bigger vet clinic...
It's just strange since his eyes look normal and are not red but he keeps having this issue. He's not even producing running tears, his eyes just get watery. The last time I was talking to them about my dog in August they said they were booking for October. I'll call them this week.
It's not constantly throughout the day and it was a single scratch from a claw I forgot to cut. He got vaccinated for FVR and hasn't been around any cats, can he still get it?
My poor boy Binx (1 yr old in August) has been having watery eye issues for the last few months - it seems to have possibly started in the summer. Either one or the other - just watery enough to where you see it in his eye but not going onto the fur. It was very occasional and didn't worry me...
Thanks for all the replies! He lost his top canines the other day so i'm going to get the toothbrush/paste a little sooner.
That's the one I found! I'll be getting this toothpaste and infant toothbrushes soon :)
Thanks for the heads up on the chicken neck - i've always wondered how much to give/what he would actually do with it. Binx lets me do whatever I want to his mouth when he's lazy/sleeping, hence why I was able to see he had plaque on a premolar. Lol! Hopefully the brushing goes just as well!!
Crazy that you mention chicken neck, I saw bags of it at the pet store for $3.99 and I wanted to try him with it but I was just nervous because I don't want him to choke on any bones. Is that common?
Thanks for mentioning the infant toothbrushes, i'll pick them up first to get him used to it...
Hi guys,
Binx is finally starting to lose his bigger teeth at 6 months old and I noticed on some of his baby teeth he has plaque buildup so i'm going to start brushing them earlier (I was going to wait until after he had all of his adult teeth in). Can I just use a toothbrush without toothpaste...
What seaweed calcium replacement do you use? It seems like a lot of commercial raw has too much bone - i'm reading because a lot of recipes are based off of what dog's need. Do you put anything else in the kong? That seems like something Binx would like for sure. He's learning a lot of different...
Sorry if I seemed like I was all over the place. All this different information is a lot to take in and sometimes I don't know the best way to go about things. I'm still not entirely sure if i'm going to do raw + Freshpet rolls or cooked + Freshpet rolls, I ordered a sample of TCFeline just in...
I wasn't sure if I should worry about the bone content with the pre-made raw and if it would have a difference if I rotated it with Freshpet. Like, would feeding Freshpet with the pre-made raw almost "dilute" the bone content?
Are the cheaper wet foods that are shredded/flaked/chunky that have...
Hi guys, i'm so conflicted on how I should be feeding my 5 1/2 month old kitten, Binx. He's been eating the Fancy Feast classic line since he was 8 weeks old and I used to add water to it so it was soupy which he loved as a tiny kitten. Now, he's basically fed up with the FF pate. He also eats...
My girl was on Furosemide for 6 months (she had suspected heart failure) and she lost muscle mass and got quite skinny but she was still jumping up and down until she got too frail towards the end.
I would try out some wet food if you haven't already, my girl thought that was a lot easier to...
