Thank you for your input. I will definately let you know the outcome.
Me and a friend also joke that dogs are like toddlers and cats are like teenagers. Its so true when we compare stories (she has dogs and i have cats).
I'm doing the study for my own interest really. I am an animal...
me and my boyfriend love american idol. we watch it in the uk on a friday but i wish we could see it live and vote. I want taylor to win but i think it will be catherine or kelly. Everyone whos left is good though
Hi I'm doing a study into pet behaviour and am interested to hear from you. The poll is brief but if you'd like to tell me in more detail about your kittys behaviour problem, I'd love to hear. The results will eventually be published on my site and on here. Thanks
p.s. excuse the spelling...
thank you. My job is geat, I always fancied working with animals but didnt really know what exactly and I figured work shouldn't be fun! But then I sort of happened upon it and found the subject fascinating so I took a course in it and it kind of went from there. I think its a really popular up...
yes my cat did it the same as yours. We played a similar game but with the light reflecting from a watch. he chased it for about 15mins them flopped down panting. I was a bit worried the 1st time too!
My cats didnt bat an eyelid at catnip, but then i bought some organic catnip and they went crazy! That might be something to try. Most of the toys i buy go unused. Their favourites are a piece of string and a pentop my boyfriend attatched to a long piece of cotton!
I agree with all the above but also if you can, get one the same or similar to his current one. I had the same problem and ended up with 3 they wouldnt use. Then I twigged and bought them 1 exactly the same as the type they had 1st and they took straight to it.
Also if you put something in there which smells of your cat or you, it will help him feel a bit happier in it. If he has a fave blanket or anything, or a jumper you have worn for a little while, something like that
