Hes about 3 1/2 years old. I think I got him neutered at about 4-5 months. We built a indoor avery for our 6 cats so every chance he comes into the house, he usually sprays. The litter/litter tray hasn't changed to my knowledge. My cat has been doing this since he was little and we've tried just...
Wow I didn't know that dry food about dry food. I've noticed lately that Harry has been having trouble to go to the bathroom. He grunts and is very uncomfortable everytime he feels the urge to go. His litter box seems empty to me so of course I'm worried. Is it from the lack of food maybe?
I can't imagine its good for them but I'm sure if they don't eat it, then they'll be fine. Since your talking about hygiene products, beware of dental floss. A friend of mine had a piece of dental floss in her bathroom and somehow her cat got a hold it and ate it. This caused the floss to rap...
Yes, I've already been giving Harry nutri cal. The molasses brown sticky stuff, right? He eats a little bit of it but still not as much as I would want him to. My other cats love it but harry has always been a picky eater. Let me know if there is anything else because I plan to go to the store soon.
Oh I totally agree with that. I know some people that have lost their cats to coyotes, racoons, bobcats, car accidents, etc. A few years back, my big ginger male cat escaped from our house one day and we never saw him again. Its just better to keep them in your home where you know they are safe
Also I want to say that Harry's appetite hasn't increased. Hes still eating the bare minimum and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some high calorie yummy foods for him? Thanks
I'm sorry about your Kitty! I would like to point out Harry isn't a outside cat. Its hard to explain but we kinda built a outside house for our cats that has a roof and gate doors around it. They can't get out unless one of us opens the door. We have coyotes where we live so our animals NEVER go...
Ok I took Harry to the vet yesterday. Unfortunately my vet wasn't in that day so I'm not sure if Harry was treated as best as he could have been. Anyway, the vet did say Harry was somewhat depressed from what I told him and his symptons are common to depression. Harry is 5.3 pounds which is at...
Well Harry had worms as a kitten but I quickly caught it and got medicine for him. I sometimes check out the stool to make sure everything is normal also.
What could they do for him? I'm feeding him wet cat food(I don't usually do that since I don't think its healthy but I know it can help weight gain) and I've been giving him nutri-cal vitamins.
Hi, I believe my cat, Harry, is depressed deeply. Hes a half persian 3 year old male. He is not eating that much and I think hes underweight. He has long silver fur so his fur hides him well. I do feel his bones but he still has a little pudgy belly. Harry doesn't like to play or be around my...
