Hi, I haven't posted here in awhile, but I am in need of some advice from the wise posters here.
My cat, Penelope, has had a warm head and ears since early August. She was acting a little "off" as well - not finishing her dinner in 5 minutes (she can be piggy! lol). But she was finishing her...
Aww Daniel. I know how you feel. And my eldest is much younger.
But it IS best to look into this now, as others are saying.
I have something in my will as well (like Rosie) in case I leave before them.
But I also have already decided on cremation should the day come.
For me, the hardest...
Is it possible she is either:
1. Hungry
2. Bored and wanting attention?
I find that if my cats are not adequately doted upon the night before, there will be pre-alarm clock issues. Especially with my youngest.
Also, if a cat is hungry, they will do just about anything to see that their...
TheZookeper -- I will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts. I'm so glad you are safe.
Thanks to all who have posted some links for donation sites.
A family with a gorgeous cat was interviewed yesterday. The refugee place at the stadium apparently is well-equipped for cats and dogs. They were very impressed with the fact they didn't need to bring anything to the spot for their pet, although of course they did.
I'd like to donate though if...
she's not eating like usual - but is eating. I just brought out a bowl and more water to the porch where we are all sitting and she had a few nibbles. She's sleeping now.
I wonder if the dosage is just too high for her. She had been on Clavamox before several years ago and nothing had happened...
I think we may do that - we're getting out the phone book now.
She is drinking water again right now, and she has been going to the bathroom (no. 2) without any problems. Its been entirely normal.
What complications led to your cats death? Mine is acting really really weird now that she is on the UTI medicine and appears to be sicker (as I posted in a new thread)
I am so sorry about the loss of your baby!
I determined from reading many threads here last week that Penelope has a UTI. She was taken to the vet, it was confirmed, and she was prescribed Clavamox 125mg twice daily. Note - no urine sample was able to be obtained so diagnosis purely on symptoms.
While her UTI symptoms have improved...
Oh my are they being bad
Penelope has ripped curtains in her day LOL. When we first moved to the new home a few months ago, they were both climbing the screens (well more Maverick) and he eventually ripped one. Not sure what gets into them sometimes.
I wonder if there is a way to get them to...
Now I am all caught up on the new member of Sophie and Rosie's family!
He is adorable!! I hope in time they all become good friends, I suspect those little ladies are just seeing if they can fuss their way into having Jack go bye byes LOL
