Where do you source fish oil for supplementing ground raw? Is using wild salmon or Alaskan Salmon necessary? I'm finding it very expensive!

We plan on confining the 2 kitties to two large rooms for a bit while they adjust to their new home here. I was going to put a litter box in each room during this stage (one small and one is a large, high-sided clear plastic container). BUT..one of those rooms is my kitchen where I do not want...

I'm imagining the kitties grabbing the chunks of meat and running off with them! Do they tend to do that? I just want to avoid any issues of possible contamination in the house.

My reasons for looking into making my own are so I know exactly what is in their food and to keep the cost of their food down. I can blend my own supplements if it is cheaper.

Hello We will be getting our kitties in less than 2 weeks and have decided that I PROBABLY want to make their food. I am not comfortable with raw at this time (we have ten young grandchildren that visit often and my lack of knowledge has me a little nervous regarding raw and small children)...
