I was once doing cat rescues trap release and also finding barn homes for ferals as well in Medford Oregon now after dvorce I came back in 2008 to Silicon Valley where my family was they have since moved because of high cost to live here and too crowded here in area also retired. I am perm disabled from a trauma car accident years ago as well as other illnesses I have gotten since and stay home with my best friend in world my calico cat emotional support animal Pixie she is 12 plus years old and has been through the big move from Medford Oregon and some domestic violence which left her and I both homeless in my car for three long years while I put my name on low income housing lists, in 2015 her and I finally got our housing and moved out of my car but in March this year Pixie became extremely Ill suddenly with hypo thyroidism and stage 1 2 kidney disease as well she was placed on thyroid cream twice daily alternating ears at first that wasn't working for her so I asked she be put on thyroid tabs instead it is working her thyroid is under control dosage has been reduced and now I'm dealing with the kidney disease and trying to keep it from progressing I don't know what I would do without her when my world is crashing she makes me smile she is everything to me
