I didn't quite catch the name of the syndrome or problem that my cat had, something about absorption. He ended up having the one tooth pulled and then 3 others had the crown removed as the root was already absorbed (or something like that!) If anyone knows the name of this can you let me know...

It turns out he has an abcessed tooth. He's getting it taken care of tomorrow and will be on antibiotics for 10 days. I'm nervous but glad it's not something worse!
