    Mother's breasts hard.

I doubt it's that. Her breasts have shrunk a lot in the last few days. They're still a little hard, but only the bottom two. Her other ones have already softened up. We'll still take her in soon to get spayed though.

    Mother's breasts hard.

If it is the same on Monday my friend said we'll take her in for a checkup and to get spayed. Thanks for the help!

    Fleas on Kittens

Thanks, I'll see if they are in my area, and I'll try using dawn. Would getting a hair dryer be a smart idea so they don't get cold? They always seem cold after getting wet, and I don't want them to catch anything.

    Fleas on Kittens

We've gotten rid of most of them, but some of the pesky ones get really deep, that's why I asked. We went to the vet and they were out of flea products for kittens under 12 weeks, so they told us to use the comb method you described, I just wondered if anyone knew if the baby powder myth was...

    Fleas on Kittens

I heard that baby powder helps bring the fleas to the surface. Is this true?

    Mother's breasts hard.

They are already softening, and she isn't in any pain, quite the opposite in fact. She purrs a lot more now. If you still recommend taking them to the vet, I'll ask my friend, but I'm not sure if he could afford it, the kittens really took a chunk out of his money. Is there anyway to dry...

    Mother's breasts hard.

They're 6 weeks, and don't nurse anymore. The kittens got sick and stopped nursing, and after taking them to the vet and giving them medicine, they didn't want her milk so they only eat kitten food. I think you might be right, since they got sick, they stopped nursing quite suddenly so her...

    Mother's breasts hard.

The kittens are for the most part eating on their own now. But the mother's breasts are hard and warm to the touch. Is this anything to be worried about?

    Kittens still not eating

Thanks. They still don't want to eat, but I'll force them to now. I'm just glad they're drinking now, because they weren't before they got their medicine from the vet.

    Kittens still not eating

I just gave them some wet food. How much would be good for a serving? I just held them and put it in their mouth, we are getting a syringe later, so I'll try diluting it in water, since they drink a lot.

    Kittens still not eating

They're about 5 weeks and 6 days, so they should be fine with kitten food. I was wondering if they are getting everything they need from the Duralactin Fel with L-Lysine, or if we should force feed them.

    Kittens still not eating

I was given Duralactin Fel with L-Lysine by the vet on Monday, but she sounded like they would be also eating normal food after sleeping. Yet now, two days later they still won't eat kitten food, or feed off of their mother. Is this normal, and will they get their appetite back once they are...
