Hi everyone! Just a little update. We spent nearly 2 weeks with the TV off entirely, and unfortunately Opal has still hissed at seemingly nothing in the living room. We think it might be some kind of noise outside, but we're not sure. The good news is that Opal is recovering quicker each time...

Thank you all for your responses!! It seems the general consensus is to get the TV checked out. It's a little bit old now so it very well might be a part malfunctioning. I'm not sure why my other cat isn't bothered by it. I think we will take Opal to get her ears checked just to be sure there...
