Thanks, everybody. I haven't been around much lately. This time of year is really busy: Mark's home (for good, I hope), Christmas and I've gone back to school. The economy tanked, I got laid off and Tucson's job market is the pits.

I don't walk in these - I STRUT! They're not so bad, as they have a 1" platform. Because of a heel spur and plantar fascitis, I can't wear flats - THOSE will have my feet cramping, in no time.

Yep, they're Baby Phat and the heels are about 5" high. This is the first time that Jen and I have bought the same shoes but, they were just TOO good to resist. Jen found a black Baby Phat top, with gold kitties on it, too. MINE are going to look great with my leopard-print strapless dress.

My friend Jen and I went shopping today and we BOTH found the PERFECT pair of shoes: sexy, on sale and with kitties embossed on the heels!

I always take my western hats to a local Western wear store for cleaning and blocking.

Every month, my job has a "theme day". Yesterday was "60s Day": Yours truly won first prize, for my outfit. I'm going to have to print this out and give my mother a shock - these were the clothes that she wouldn't allow me to wear, back then.

California taxes EVERYTHING, except your bodily fnctions and as soon as they figure out how to monitor those, WATCH OUT! As for the sales taxes, I input the state/city sales tax rates and Turbo tax figured out my deduction, based on my income - it's easier than saving all of my receipts. If...

There's one near Tucson but, between the sun, cactus and stinging/biting critters, I don't see how they can stand it. Some years ago, the paper did a story about the place and showed a guy sitting on a rock. We have 100+ temps, in the summer and those rocks are HOT (guess that HIS were too)...
