Marvin is doing well again. We've seemingly traced back his issue to the use of Miralax (this was managing his constipation). We switched some of his food over to Hills Prescription m/d, and the fiber in that has helped his GI tract very much. Only trouble is now he's experiencing some blood...

that's my trouble, pinpointing it to a specific food has been focus of discussion that last few days, his diet was pretty steady for 6-7 weeks and then all of a sudden he had this episode, it's frustrating!

where did you buy psyllium seed from? we've just started Marvin on insulin for his diabetes and now I'm more worried about his constipation, go figure

so Marvin ended up defecating this morning on his own- 15 failed attempts and 2 vomiting episodes (probably from straining) he went I was meeting with his primary vet today anyway because of his diabetes so no emer visit for him; we gave him an extra dose of Miralax to help

clearing my schedule tomorrow and I'll likely have to take him into the emergency vet in the morning

Of course after I said this a few days ago now Marvin is pretty backed up. Anyone know any good tricks? Marvin has gone into the box about 6 times in an hour and hasn’t produced anything. Going to try an additional dose of miralax.

He’s doing well today. Better energy and seemed more like his old self. Eating low/no carb wet food, drinking plenty of water. Believe me, I asked the same question and our vet said he’ll be ok until our appt. She’s a great vet who knows Marvin well 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
