just an update--I was able to get a dose of cerenia in Ginger this morning and some Mirataz in her ears. As of this evening she is back at her bowl and so far food is stayin down. thank goodness

Ginger is 17 and vet is recommending senior labs and visit yearly around $360 this year my bill was about $1300 as she had pancreatitis and a UTI, needed two pancreas tests and a few urine cultures, meds and follow up visits. I hope we are done for this year *sigh*

Regarding fluid administration: Someone suggested drawing a dark black line with a sharpie or marker all the way across the bag before you start the administration of fluid. Draw the line at the level you want to stop at so you can see easily when the fluid level approaches this line. I give my...
