They say when end stage comes around, her breath will smell foul and she will also have a strong body odour. She is depicting neither of these symptoms. But as I said, seems to be in pain.

I give smoky 100 ml of sq per day. I mix the antacid tablet with lactulose and squirt it into her mouth. Since she doesn't protest too much about it I assume that it doesn't taste too bad. She had been having persistent ear infections since last year for which she was treated with anti biotics, steroid shots and ear drops. Our specialist vet tells us that 8 is quite a young age to develop renal failure and the frequent steroid injections could be a culprit
