I am going to read that right now! I am not extremely worried about the presents under the door, only because then I know where the little bodies are and he doesn’t hide them somewhere else That is a good idea though, maybe it would block some of her meowing!

I am in need of help! We live in the country and of course have mice in the house from time to time, which is taken care of by our kitties. However, our male likes to bring the mice upstairs and slide them under our bedroom door (not alive)... hence why we sleep with the door closed. So...

Unfortunately because we aren’t home throughout the day, we don’t get to keep many away from them. So often we come home and find half eaten bodies, but the mouse are usually kept at bay. The main reason I like to try and get them away from the cats is worms or something else the mice might...

Cats are such funny animals, they try and protect us in their own little ways.

That was my thought too!! Ours are strictly indoor, so I love that they catch them so we can dispose of the mice. It’s always fun trying to get the mice away of a kitty that just wants to play with it.... extreme pain in the butt. But! I don’t want to watch the cat do that to the mouse.

Status Update! Two days of no throwing up. I have been doing wet food in the morning and at night now and leaving dry food in a puzzle feeder during the day and overnight!

So far there was no puking yesterday after giving them wet food in the morning and at night! We purchased a “puzzle feeder” to try and slow them down on the dry food. They do have a very good quaility dry food, so I hope it’s not that!

It seems to be mostly just undigested food or semi digested, it’s like they are eating too much too fast and then shortly after are throwing it all back up. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly when or which cat it’s happening with but I do know that one seems to chew more then the other. I was...

I spoke to our vet this morning, they advised us to buy a “slow feeder” for the dry food and give less then normal. Continue with wet food and add a little more to their diet. So far they are assuming the dry food is being consumed too quickly or too much. Going to start there! Thanks everyone!
