I can't agree with you more. It's my family. I'm afraid they'd return her as soon as I get her back. The journey alone is a killer, for me and the cat.

I just visited my cat today. She has a litter of three adorable kittens. If, for any reason, I decide to take her and her litter back home, is there any way I could inadvertently harm the kittens? Would their mother leave them once their scent has been muffled by my hand or...
To take her back, I ride three minibuses. I don't think a cardboard box is practical. Also, I have used backpacks but she simply would not fit in. The ride is aggravating for her in this heat. She pants a lot and yowls.
I'll see if I could return her this Saturday. I don't think I could abort the kittens. And I'm against spaying. I could quarantine her until she's one year old.
