Bumps Under Nipples Of 5 Month-old Female Kitten

Hi! This was years ago now so it's fuzzy but she was spayed 2 weeks after I made this post and they didn't mention anything about her being pregnant or anything during the surgery. She recovered just fine and has never had this issue since. I do remember she was showing some signs of going into...

Looking for any blind spots in my cat's IBD treatment

Thanks so much for your input! Sorry you're dealing with this too, it's a terrible disease :( Yes, Freddie had an abdominal ultrasound- results were attached in the post. He had 'moderate' thickening of the entire GI tract as well as enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes. They didn't do any further...

Looking for any blind spots in my cat's IBD treatment

Thank you so much!! This is all super valuable info to know going forward. I figured more time was needed on the diet before really assessing effectiveness but I wasn't sure. Would you say 3 weeks or more? Interesting you mentioned the FNA- they had initially quoted us for that procedure...

Looking for any blind spots in my cat's IBD treatment

Hello! I posted on here awhile back about my cat's chronic vomiting and received a lot of helpful info. I did end up going to a GI specialist a week ago to pursue further testing. I have attached the summary results of his abdominal ultrasound here if anyone is interested! Essentially, they...

I've never considered pancreatitis but that is very similar to his recurrent symptoms, I will definitely ask them to run this test! Thank you

I'm at a loss with my cat's GI issues - need advice!

Is the cerenia in tablet form? Freddie has gotten week prescriptions of cerenia and he is absolutely impossible to pill so that makes me hesitant. If I do somehow manage to get it down his throat, he sometimes vomits it up. I can't hide it in his food either cuz he can smell it... :sigh...

I'm at a loss with my cat's GI issues - need advice!

Thank you so much for sharing! This is all really insightful and I'm so happy to hear your cat is doing well now. IBD progressing to cancer is what really scares me and why I am motivated to figure this out. I think I will schedule a consult with an internal medicine specialist for him in the...

I'm at a loss with my cat's GI issues - need advice!

No, that's why it's so frustrating. Some days he eats rabbit the entire day and likes it and doesn't throw up. The next day, he gets rabbit and immediately throws it up or doesn't want it. I've been rotating through every flavor that S&C carries, which is about 10 or so. I am rehydrating every...

I'm at a loss with my cat's GI issues - need advice!

I’m at a loss and need some advice and/or any insight anyone may have. I have a 6 year-old male Devon Rex named Freddie with (what I’m guessing) is IBD. Him and his sister (litter mates) have always been very picky with food and prone to throwing up but he is much worse off and has more...

    Cat Acne???

Hi guys, Hoping someone can help with what I think may be acne on both my cats' upper lip area. I noticed Freddie starting to have a discoloration on one side of his upper lip about 3 weeks ago and figured he got into something that stained his mouth. I rubbed at it a bit and it has some...

Need Help On How To Treat Hot Spots From Sibling Over-grooming!

Hi guys, Wasn't sure if this should go in the Cat Behavior Forum or this one but I'll give it a shot. I have two 1 year-old Devon Rex siblings, a boy and a girl. We have been noticing that the girl will occasionally excessively grooms the insides of his ears, where she chews on the skin...

One Of My Cats Grooms Her Brother's Ears Excessively, Causing Sores. How Do I Stop This??

Hi there, I have two kitties, a brother and a sister both 1 year old. They are otherwise healthy, indoor-only cats with no other behavioral issues. Recently, I've noticed that the girl cat will clean her brother's ears, nose, and face when they lay down to sleep together (an otherwise nice...

    Fip? Help, I'm Beside Myself!

Oh, wow. That's so scary! Freddie is similar in that he hasn't eaten for almost a week but luckily has (somehow) not had liver issues yet. I'm happy to hear Mika is eating again and her condition seems to be somewhat controlled. Cats are such a mystery sometimes! How did you get her to eat...

    Fip? Help, I'm Beside Myself!

Hi there, Thanks for your reply, and I'm so sorry to hear about you roommate's cat. It truly is one of the ugliest diseases. The more I research the more I'm truly horrified by it. The skyrocketing fever seems to be a hallmark of *most* cases of FIP so I'm holding on to that sliver of hope...
