    Watery eye

Hello to you all once more and a Happy New Year. My oldest cat (13) has had a watery eye for the last couple of days. She doesn't seem to be in pain but the eye is a little closed. The liquid is clear and she washes it with her paw in a normal fashion. Is this a vet trip or will it clear up in a...

    Scratching Despite Treatment

My feeling is that the actual over the counter treatment has not worked and I am left with the same symptoms that I had before I used it.

    Scratching Despite Treatment

Thanks for replies, I have been away recently and not at home much either but I used the anti-flea treatment because she was scratching before I went away. maybe a trip to the vets may be in order.

    Scratching Despite Treatment

Hello again, I came here some months back for advice and was impressed by the help and friendship I found here. This time my problem is........ one of my cats was scratching a lot, some crusty lumps around neck area. I treated her with anti-flea/tick behind the neck drops by Bob Martin but she...

    Persistant earmites

I was told to treat my cat for 3 weeks due to the life cycle of the mites. Any shorter and you could end up killing off the current live ones and then the new eggs will hatch later after you've stopped the treatement. After 4 days my cat still occasionally scatches and shakes her head but it is...

    My cats are ALWAYS hungry!!

Yes, my cats are always hungry too despite being nowhere near slim! They want food when I come home, no matter how long I've been out. They also want food eveytime I come from upstairs, even if I've only been 10 minutes. I put it down to them being 'greedy swines'

    Persistant earmites

I've checked the literature that came with Canaural and it specifically states that it is a treatement for earmites. My guess is that the company sells a slightly different product under the same name in different countries. She is improving but there is stilll two and a half weeks left of...

    Persistant earmites

Thank you all for the advice. I took her to the vets and I was told that I have to use the Canaural in both ears for 3 weeks due to the egg cycle. Now why wasn't I told that information the last two visits to the vet? I also have a treatement similiar to Frontline to use on both cats to not only...
