Thanks everyone. Her nose feels more wet now. I am still watching the incision site....hopefully, it will heal more soon. Yes, good idea to have it checked if it doesn't improve soon.
My cat had a lump removed, thankfully benign, 17 days ago. Because the lump was in an area where her upper front leg covers part of the incision, it apparently took longer to heal. So I just took the collar off yesterday.
She still has a small pink spot that I hope will heal very soon. But...
Glad you are keeping him safe from predators and even bad weather. Sounds like he is loving and playful...hope you can keep him. Or maybe find him a home with one of your friends so you can still see him?
Another thing...try not to stare at him or get in his space too closely as he might feel more intimidated. Instead go about what you are doing, let Bob stroll around, and I think Bob will then warm up to you. Especially when he sees your other cats responding to you without fear.
I also wonder if his tail is causing pain or not. If it is not painful, as others suggested, maybe you can hold off on the amputation.
I don't know which State you live in, but here in Los Angeles, there is Sam Simon Foundation. They not only do free spay and neuter, but they do some types...
God bless you for helping and loving this little guy! I'm sure he is loving his new home with you.
Years ago I had a kitten that got diarrhea all of the time. Someone recommended that I try feeding her only dry food. As soon as I changed her to dry food, no more diarrhea. When she was...
Hoping and praying you will be able to trap Whinny and that she can be fostered and found a good home.
I think she lays in the heated water for warmth....poor baby. Bless her heart...
Sounds like good advice...go to trap the kitty when the lady least expects you...and use very tasty food as mentioned above.
Years ago an animal rescue friend finally found a home for a long hair black cat that I fed that lived on my little street. Had mentioned to a neighbor about Black Furry...
God bless you for helping Trei! So very sorry about her sister.
It sounds like she is getting attached to you... anyway you can possibly keep her? Or if you can find a friend that would take her, maybe then you can still see her sometimes? Being through such trauma, it's good she has a sense...
Yes, make sure he is neutered.
Actually being allowed in two rooms isn't bad...can he look out of the windows? Lots of us live in apartments that are two rooms. My cat is happy with two rooms plus hall and bathroom. Sometimes I stroll with her late at night in our apartment building's...
