I JUST CAUGHT HAZEL - Now What?

It's great that you caught her. If you haven't yet, your first step should be to take her to the vet and get her spayed and have her vaccinations. If she likes your cats, that will be very helpful for taming her, because she will see that your cats aren't afrsid of you. Good luck!

Could this cat have had kittens?

Really? That's good to know! I live in Georgia and it just got cold recently.

Could this cat have had kittens?

Okay, I'll try that. She is pretty skittish, though. She used to live in our neighbors' shed, but they were very loud so she left. Now that they've moved out she might be back, so I'll check in and around there too. She'll won't let me closer than maybe three feet, but I do think she's a stray...

    Skittish stray or feral?

If it let you pet it it's almost definitely not a feral. To pet a feral you would have to feed it for years before it trusted you enough to pet it. Ferals are wild animals. Just like a bobcat wouldn't let you pet it, neither would a feral. It's possible it could be a semi feral (stray that has...

    My cat bites!

That sounds pretty serious. I would suggest getting advice from an expert and then working with him with welding gloves or some other kind of thick gloves on. If you know anyone who has fixed problems like this with other cats see if they'll help. How often does he bite? If all else fails, you...

Could this cat have had kittens?

Okay, thank you. How likely do you think it is? Do you think I should bother looking?

    My cat bites!

How old is he? If he is a kitten he might be teething, although it doesn't sound like chewing, just biting. What I suggest is getting a small spray bottle, and whenever he bites, spray him straight in the face. It's unpleasant but won't hurt him. After you spray him, walk away or shut him in a...

Could this cat have had kittens?

We also have a cat who is indoor/outdoor and gets fed outside, so that is probably why she's hanging around here.

5 month old kitten with fleas HELP!!#

If your kitten is five months old, she is old enough to use treatment. You're lucky, I once had a four week old with fleas and it wasn't easy to find something to help with them. I'd suggest using edible treatment, since cats lick themselves to clean themselves I'd be a bit worried about them...

Could this cat have had kittens?

I know it's unlikely, since kitten season is way over, but I'm still a but worried. There's a tuxedo semi feral that lives next to my house, and I hadn't seen her for a week or two. Anyway, two days ago I saw her by the greenhouse from the driveway, so pretty far away. What surprised me, though...
