    Sabra....

Sabra, I missed the first post so I don't know what your specific problem is, escpecially since you are saying "homeowner" and "landlord" in the same discussion, but the entire Texas Property code is online right here: http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/statutes/pptoc.html Perhaps you can find...

    Albino Cat

okeefecl is exactly right. To reiterate what I said earlier, a white cat is NOT the same as an albino cat. To get technical, a white cat is caused by what is called the W gene. It is dominant so a cat has to only have one parent that carries the gene to be white. Albinism is determined by...

    Albino Cat

Tigger, a white cat is different from an albino cat, although of course the albino would be white, too. But genetically they are different. The deafness is only linked to the white color, not the albinism, so an albino cat would not be any more likely to be deaf than any other color cat.

    I am a bit annoyed

krissie, I beg to differ. It only takes minutes to go over a chart, that is no reason to get 1 or 2 hours behind. Besides, you would not believe how many don't even bother to review the form you filled out giving the reason for today's visit, much less reviewing any other part of your chart...

    training

oskar, Patsy is on the right track. Sure, cats have a certain amount of dust in their coats at anytime, but take it from someone who is allergic to both dust and cats - the dust in the cats' coats is minimal. The furniture, carpeting, rugs, vents, draperies, closets, etc. have millions more...

Cat has a problem and I need help!

I wonder if the roommate is not spanking her herself, when you are not around. If she were spanked for, say, jumping on the counter, then to express her stress she would start peeing on things. The fact that your roommate apparently sees nothing wrong with hurting a cat makes me think that she...

    Howdy All

My absolute most favorite cat was named Cosmo. Sadly he went to the bridge when he was only two years old. That was three years ago and it still hurts like it was yesterday. He was so sweet and snuggly, but was also hell on wheels for all the trouble he would get into! But I didn't mind a...

    Knock, knock, knocking

Oh, that's so cute! I know it must be aggravating, though! I've had cats through the years with a sense of humor, but none of them had a recurring trick like that! Alf must be very smart as well as very funny!

    Deformed hip in kitten

They apparently carry the manx gene and your no-tail girl has what is called manx sydrome. The manx gene causes a shortening of the spine, but at what degree the shortness occurs varies because it is an incomplete dominant gene - instaed of "overtaking" a recessive gene, it "mixes" with it. My...

    It's Driving Me Crazy ! !

Folks that go to work and then play instead. Surf the net, chat with their neighbors, have little birthday parties in the cubes, etc. Either way I'm screwed - either the work is not getting done and it's left to the rest of us to do, or they have nothing to do and they are taking up valuable...
