I just lost 2 of my 3 foster kittens due to panleukopenia and this was my first and only batch of fosters. 😭 It was so hard.. at least I could love them and hold them instead of them being in a shelter 24/7.

May I ask what type of surgery it was? I just got a kitten and I believe he has the same birth defect and I have been reading some not so great news about this disease. Is your cat still thriving? Or do I need to consider putting him to sleep as a strong possiblity?
