Selem - Male - It's a different way of spelling "Salem" from the TV show Sabrina The Teenage Witch. It's an especially fun occurrence when you happen to know people with the name Sabrina or someone whose cat is named "Magic". Totally not projecting my own experiences here! ;)

Look at her go! So adorable. I would recommend to keep the litter box in the same place at all times. This way, once she understands what it's for, she will always know where to go. That's what I did when I first adopted my cat and so far he's peed somewhere else only once in the past 15 years...

My family adopted him from my aunt's farm when he was a few weeks old, but we've never really known what breed he is. (Yes, he fell asleep like this.)
