My parents dog had her puppes. She is a cream chow and gave birth to the first puppy last night at 11;30 and the last one was just born at 7:30 this morning. We have 8! WOW! We haven't slept much(or actually haven't slept at all), but this is so amazing.... They're all healthy, vet is coming...

I have to agree. I don't understand why they want you to spay the dog, they should be the ones taking care of it not you.

Just an update: I did take her to another vet the very same day on tuesday and they as well took some blood and said will call me wednesday with the results or thursday morning. I got the prednisone from my regular vet, she has been treating all our pets for many years, but could not talk to her...
