    Adjusting To New Kittens

Please meet Loki, Thor, and Freya....They were all born about April 1st, so they are about 3 1/2 months old. Loki has a heart on his side, it is so unique! Thank you for your support. I am really trying to just enjoy them and I know it will get easier.

    Adjusting To New Kittens

Well I am happy to say that I recently adopted 3 new kittens who are littermates. I lost my prior 2 senior kitties 6 months apart due to various health issues. Now I am finding myself watching over these 3 new kittens like a "helicopter" mom. I keep worrying about things, like are they...

    His illness.

I am sorry that your poor boy is having difficulty breathing.  What kind of testing have they done?  What made them draw the conclusion that it is asthma?  Have they tested him for heartworm?  I have heard that Heartworm can cause asthma like symptoms in cats as they do not get Heartworm like...

Urgent Heat related question! Please help!

An easy test to tell if he is hydrated is to grab the fur and skin by the scruff and pull up gently, if it does not spring back quickly, he may need fluids.  I hope he is doing better today.

Urgent Heat related question! Please help!

    Hyperthyroid + many other issues

    Hyperthyroid + many other issues

Thank you. I am going to try putting it into empty capsules myself, but if that doesn't work then at least I know I can ask for the gel caps next time. Unfortunately, I really think this could be the end of the road for my little guy as it doesn't seem to be working yet and we are running out of...

    Hyperthyroid + many other issues

Hello, I am fairly new to the site, but I am wondering if anyone might have some suggestions that might help my poor kitty.  Spritle is a neutered male domestic shorthair, almost 14 years old (best guess as he was found about 12 years ago).  He was diagnosed around 5 years ago with hyperthyroid...

    Cat Fountain Question

I have 2 male cats, age 15 and 13. There are pros and cons with the fountains.  I have used them in the past, but find them to be a pain to clean as you have to take them completely apart to get to every little part.  I did not find them to promote my kitties to drink either.  I found that...
