This is her incision today, the day after her spay. I think she may have already torn it open, the picture is sort of difficult to see but her incision is pink and goopy in the middle for lack of a better word. I'll be contacting the vet in the morning.

Is it safe for me to apply gauze and a bandage to prevent her from getting at her incision? I bought a cone from the vet but it's large enough that she can't walk with it on and it just slips off over her head.

It's been just a few hours since I got my cat home from being spayed, and she's trying to play, jump around, etc; I can't crate her because she has an absolute coniption, and literally every room in my home has numerous pieces of furniture and things she will try to mess with. What should I do...
